PRIME 27:17

An elite level baseball club from youth ages to college showcase, located in the Kansas City metropolitan area, for serious minded baseball families.

Our program is made up of passionate athletes, families, coaches and trainers. We're for the determined, the hardworking, the authentic. Prime 27:17 develops players into fierce athletes, strong teammates and ultimately, great men.  Proverbs 27:17 - As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.  

Founded and led by Coach Jerrod Ryherd who opened the club after 17 years of success coaching club ball as well as head coaching Shawnee Mission East and Blue Valley Southwest high school which included multiple KSHSAA State appearances, a State Title and 7 future MLB picks. Coach Ryherd  was also awarded Coach of the Year by KSHSAA in 2016. Ryherd realized the need for a specialized club focused on athletes who crave "more baseball". Intentionally keeping the club small, Ryherd recruits the most driven athletes and the most focused and passionate staff.

Prime 27:17 baseball teams primarily participate in Prep Baseball (PBR) and Perfect Game (PG) tournaments around the Kansas City metro area as well as travel regionally, to find best of the best competition. As the young men age up, Prime participates in showcase tournaments around the country. Prime 27:17 is also a Soldier Spects National partner.
